Juve’s Rugnani, Dybala and Matuidi recovered from COVID-19

Juventus have released some fantastic news. Rugani, Matuidi and Dybala have all now fully recovered from the coronavirus after testing negative.

Daniele Rugani was the first footballer to test positive for coronavirus and all Serie A clubs went on high alert. Then more cases were confirmed including other members of the Juventus squad.

Blaise Matuidi and Paulo Dybala were the next players to get COVID-19, but several days of isolation and treatment, they have now all got over the disease.

Juventus have issued an official statement this Wednesday which explains that the players have been tested twice and both have come back negative.

“Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi underwent, as per protocol, a double-check with diagnostic tests (swabs) for the Coronavirus-Covid 19. The tests came back with negative results. The players have, therefore, recovered and are no longer subjected to the home isolation regime,” read the statement from the Turin based club.

So both men no longer have to self-isolate and can now be at home with the rest of their families and they can no longer pass on the disease to anyone else.

There is no mention of Dybala by the club, but ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ says that he tested negative in the first reading and the club are just waiting for the second test to confirm the good news.
