Chelsea star Willian has reportedly been offered a huge signing-on fee to join Tottenham.
The Brazilian’s contract at Stamford Bridge is coming to an end this summer and there is no sign that fresh terms will be agreed.
The winger has stated previously that he would like to remain at Chelsea but wants to be offered a new three-year deal, nothing less.
And according to Football Insider, Spurs could be ready to try to persuade the 31-year-old to move to north London instead.
The report claims that Jose Mourinho has made Willian one of his top targets this summer and that Tottenham are willing to offer him £250,000-a-week.
The Portuguese knows the player well after working with him during his time as Chelsea boss and rates him highly.
Willian admitted recently that talks over a new Blues deal have in effect ended.
He told Expediente Futebol : “I think it will be very difficult for me to renew because Chelsea offered me two years.
“I asked for three and it ended there. We didn’t talk anymore. We didn’t negotiate anymore.”
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with Willian over the summer and several other clubs come come in for him.
