Manchester United icon Rio Ferdinand has claimed that there is ‘no way’ Arsenal sign Calvert-Lewin this month.
“There’s no way,” Ferdinand told his Vibe with Five YouTube channel when asked about the England international making a move to the north London club.
“I don’t think Everton let Calvert-Lewin go in this window, no chance. He’s one of the crown jewels. No way!”
According to transfer expert David Ornstein, Arsenal’s chances of signing Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo are slimmer than before.
Ornstein said: “Arthur loan diminishing. They want him until summer, Juventus want 18 months. Edu & Cherubini eventually aligned on 18 months + buy option at ~€40m but #AFC hierarchy reluctant. As things stand it’s not happening.”
