Manchester United announced the extension of Odion Ighalo’s loan from 31 May 2020 to 31 January 2021. The Nigerian arrived at Old Trafford from Shanghai Shenhua earlier this season.
Manchester United have reached an agreement with Shanghai Shenhua to extend the transfer of Odion Ighalo from 31 May 2020 to 31 January 2021.
Although the Nigerian striker had a contract with the English until the end of May, he will be able to stay at Old Trafford until early next year, after extending the loan agreed with the English at the start of the season.
So far this year, the 30-year-old veteran has celebrated four goals and provided an assist in eight official matches, including three as a starter.
“Manchester United have reached an agreement with Shanghai Greenland Shenhua to extend the loan agreement for Odion Ighalo,” reads the statement.
